Super useful for travel. Bulky size and less watts might be an issue for some
This was a game changer in Europe. Bought two because of a coupon promotion but had many ports for one charger. 35W won’t fully charge a macbook but when left overnight 35-ish watts over 4 devices is well enough to charge a tablet, your phone, earbuds and a smart watch.The charger itself is pretty chonky for a GAN charger and will fall off with a loose outlet like an airplane seat, but you can switch from US to European option for a more snug fit. The GAN part must be responsible for the cooler heat despite charging. So while it’s a small brick the size of a ring box, it give you the space of 2-3 chargers you’d bring alongI can’t comment on the safety features (luckily) such as the mention of circuit protection. This device is not grounded so try not to overload it with everything you can throw at it.We used the direct plug with a laptop charger and a streaming device cord. Just remember this is not a power convertor and should only be used with devices that already support 100–240V.While 60W+ is probably better for a piece of mind (such ditching your laptop brick and using it to charge while working or more battery intensive Quick Charging), the 8-14 price range is a great value for GAN despite it only being 35W.I’ll definitely leave this in my suitcase and have one less thing on the checklist when planning trips.

Works as advertised. Made the Europe trip better by not having to buy a bunch of adapters. My wife and I were able to use this to charge our phones at night and be ready for the next day of touring and photo-taking.

Cheaply built, not sure how long it will last
It’s a little clunky compared to my old travel adapter, but this one has USB ports! This is where the weirdness starts. There is a special USB-C port on the side, and then a pair of USB-C ports and a pair of USB-A ports on the bottom. The manual refers to these as “Type-C” and “USB” which is confusing and wrong. They are all USB, and either Type A or Type C. Be consistent and call them USB-C or USB-A! I was able to charge a laptop with the full 35W but that is the max, so the laptop will charge slow. That 35W is shared among all the ports, it’s not dedicated to the side port like you would expect. So if you have a laptop, phone, iPad, etc all connected, they will all receive very little power. You’re better off plugging in your own multi-port charger into this adapter and only using 1 or 2 of the ports on this one. There is a little blue light on the bottom which thankfully is not too bright or distracting. But the “branding” on this charger is a little too much. Some of the product images show the logo, some show it blank, and one image says “customizable luminous logo” (what is that even supposed to mean…it doesn’t light up or change) Lastly this thing is built pretty cheap. I tried plugging in various types of plugs and each time it felt like I had to jam it it to get things in all the way. After just a few plugs and un-plugs, there is something rattling inside and the metal pins inside seems bent out of shape. I haven’t even used it on a trip yet, but I’m afraid to bring it with me in case it ends up causing a fire or short circuiting or something. I’m not sure I can recomend this one.
