    Great bag for larger lenses!
My oldest son is an aviation photographer and needed a backpack that could hold his variety of lenses and accessories. This camera backpack is awesome, sturdy, and easy to use. He loves the side opening to easily access his camera. The straps are sturdy. The padding is comfortable. It stores a lot. And looks pretty cool. His aviation photographer friend was equally impressed.

    Good bag
Very nice piano with plenty of room. I used it to make a mobile audio production kit with my mac mini, audio interface and a few peripherals and it worked like a charm. The interior is well-cushioned and the front is a sturdy, slightly flexible shell.

    Nice Bag for the Price
ince the other reviews went over the bag in pretty thorough detail I’ll skip that and move right on to my opinion of the bag and it’s included accessories. The bag itself seems to be of decent construction and fairly durable. The front of the bag is made out of some kind of hard plastic. That’s where you get the most protection for your equipment. The top, bottom and sides of the bag use a more traditional cordura type nylon fabric, lined with padding. The bag is comfortable to carry but you want to use the included sternum strap. At least I did. If I wasn’t and I had the bag packed out with much weight I could feel the pull on my shoulders. Speaking of shoulders, the shoulder straps are well padded and comfortable.Although padded enough, the laptop compartment doesn’t have a false bottom. I probably wouldn’t pack my laptop in this bag. Hopefully the manufacturer decides to rectify this in a future version.Who is this bag for? In my opinion its for the beginner who owns an entry level camera and is just starting out in their photographic journey. It has enough capacity to carry a micro 4/3’s or APSC camera body, some lenses and some smaller items like extra batteries, maybe a filter or two.I think it’s also for the photo enthusiast with a full frame rig who knows when to only bring one or two lenses (the capacity really isn’t there for any real big lenses). As you can see I was able to pack my Sony A7 IV body with 24-70mm attached, a 16-35mm, a 70-200mm and a nifty 50 with no problem. There was enough left over space for some filters, lens hoods, batteries etc. This bag could also be for the pro who wants to have a couple of complete bag set-ups usable in different situations so they don’t have to move equipment around. One bag would be the pro set-up and contain all their normal pro level camera equipment. This bag could be set-up for a more casual and fun shooting session. The set-up could include a small camera (like a Fuji x100vi for example), an action or 360 camera and maybe a drone.I think all shooters could find value in this bag. Here are my Pros and Cons:Pros:Decent bag for the price. It’s all around a pretty good entry level bag.Included Rain cover. This won’t make you completely water proof but will certainly keep your camera equipment mostly dry. You might get some seepage along the shoulder straps/back area though, as the cover can’t completely seal that area up. I don’t know of a cover on any bag that can lol.Price. I think it’s priced very competitively and you could do much worse at this price point. It’s a budget bag.Side Access has a theft deterrent zipper/clasp feature.Has a luggage handle pass through.Cons:No load lifters on the shoulder straps, although with a bag this size, maybe you don’t need them. I just always prefer to have the option load lifters provide.

    Filming Backpack
Gonna be great for Paranormal equipment, carrying around Pelican Cases can be a mess. Having equipment in one of these backpacks, protected by the separators is gonna be good

This Hardshell Camera Backpack is Rugged Reliability!
I’m a freelance adventure photographer who hauls Canon EOS R5, a trio of L-series lenses, a DJI Mini 3 drone, and my 15-inch MacBook across trails, urban shoots, and rainy festivals. My old soft backpack turned into a soggy disaster during a Pacific Northwest trek – water spots on the sensor and a near-melted laptop. Desperate for armor, I snagged this Hardshell DSLR/SLR Camera Backpack with Lens Pouch & 15.6″ Laptop Compartment in gray for $65 – waterproof with rain cover, drone-friendly, and built for the big brands. Tested it on a three-day coastal climb last month, and it’s earned permanent strap status. Gear stayed pristine, back didn’t scream, and the sleek gray vibe fits from backcountry to coffee shop edits.Packed with Purpose (No Empty Promises):Hardshell front panel (polycarbonate shell, padded interior for 2 DSLRs + 4-5 lenses in customizable dividers).Detachable lens pouch (holds a 70-200mm like a glove) and side drone pocket (fits Mini 3 with props).15.6-inch laptop sleeve (padded, quick-access zip) plus tablet slot.Waterproof nylon exterior with sealed seams, included rain cover, and YKK zippers.Ergonomic straps, sternum clip, waist belt, and MOLLE webbing for extras; weighs 3.5 lbs empty.Compatible with Canon/Nikon/Sony rigs; gray color hides trail dust.Strap-In Setup (10 Minutes, Trail-Ready):Dividers Velcro-adjust in seconds – slotted my R5 body, 24-70mm, 100mm macro, and speedlight snugly, with room for batteries. Laptop glides into the rear compartment like it belongs. Clipped on the rain cover (packs tiny in its pouch) and hit the path. The hardshell shrugs off branches without denting, and the gray camo’d against rocky terrain. Pro tip: Load heavy lenses low for balance – the hip belt distributes weight like a hiking pack hybrid.Shoot-Tested in the Elements:Trail Toughness: 12 miles uphill in drizzle – rain cover deployed fast, zero interior dampness. Hardshell took a tumble down scree without a scratch; drone bay kept the Mini 3 secure over bumpy singletrack.Urban Utility: City festival gig – side access let me swap lenses mid-stride without unpacking. Laptop pocket shielded my MacBook from a barista spill; edited RAWs on-site with no condensation fog.Drone and Daily Flex: Bay fits the drone + controller zipped tight; extra pockets swallowed SD cards and snacks. Carried it airport-style through security – TSA loved the organized compartments. At 25L capacity, it’s compact for day hikes but expandable with roll-top.Ventilated back panel wicks sweat (big win in humid shoots), and the straps adjust for my 5’10” frame without chafing. After 100+ miles, zippers glide smooth, and the gray’s scuff-resistant finish looks fresh.A Few Trail-Tested Tweaks (For the Honest Trek):Hardshell adds bulk – great for protection, but it won’t squish into overhead bins like a softie.Lens pouch detaches easy but lacks a carabiner (clip one on for sling use).Rain cover’s universal fit is solid, but cinch it tight in gales to avoid flutter. The Focused Finish:If you’re chasing shots in unpredictable weather with a full kit – DSLR, lenses, drone, laptop – this waterproof hardshell backpack stands guard without weighing you down. Turned my soggy fears into confident carries. 4.8 stars; it’s the pack that lets creativity roam free. Gear up and go!
