Five years old and still going strong.
Purchase this head lamp June 2020. I permanently zip tied the rechargeable headlamp onto my bicycle helmets. It’s on its second one now. This light comes with an 18650 rechargeable battery that has 3000 mah rating. This light goes everywhere‘s with me always on my bicycle helmet. I stick it on for bike riding, use it to work on my E-Bikes and regular Bikes. Perfect for vacuuming in dark rooms, cleaning the cat litter box in the dark or taking garbage out to the dumpster at night. Also use it to work on my car. If you set it on the second or third highest setting, the battery will last much longer. Put it on the lowest setting for extended usage. I rotate it with two other 18650 rechargeable batteries which are as old or older than five years. Just think of the batteries this rechargeable light has saved me from buying regular batteries over the years. Definitely hundreds of dollars probably thousands. This headlamp is part of my fleet of everyday carry flashlights with rechargeable 18650 batteries and 21700 batteries. I paid $25.99 for it five years ago and the price has not changed much at all. It has five settings, Eco at 70 lm, low at 120 lm, medium at 300 lm, high at 600 lm, turbo at 1200 lm, I usually bike ride with it at setting for 600 lm. It can last up to an hour on 600 lm. Best settings for working on things is at 120 lm or 300 lm which can last for multiple hours. Remember to clean the lens once in a while. Be sure to buy a very comfortable bicycle helmet and zip tie it on permanently so it’s ready for use anywheres you need it. This has been a workhorse flashlight for me.

Love it!
I work on the railroads roads at a steel mill. I use this a lot on night shifts. It lasts 2-3 12 hour shifts. I love that I can just pop in another 18650 when it gets low. Its very bright, and the strobe is great when I need to guard crossing for the locomotive.I ended up taking off the strap and super gluing it directly to my hard hat. I also superglue the light to the C clamp fixture, that way it wont come loose , adjust, or come off.Its very bright, but its all flood, very little throw. If you need to see over 100 yards away, a handheld will be needed. Its also very easy to control. One touch to turn off or on. Double tap for strobe. Simple! No fumbling through brightness levels. To adjust, hold down the button. Yes, it will remember the last setting. Like I said, simple!Very durable. Ive hit mine against stuff so many times over the last 8 months. It has never even flickered. So, if you want a good, bright, durable, easy to use, easy to change batteries, rechargeable, and reliable light, this is the best choice I know of.

Bright enough for after sundown hours ranch work, durable and versatile
The headlamp arrived packaged well enough, the instructions included at the bottom of the light’s package are clear enough if you are used to these sorts of lights already. The interface is simple, after a little experimentation the modes are easy to work with.Press the button once quickly to toggle ON/OFF. There are five power settings and two “flashing” modes that are available. Flashing modes are a waste of time for what I use the lamp for, but they are not in the “POWER” selection. Mine started in the lowest setting and holding the button down for 2 seconds shifted to the next power setting. Each subsequent hold for 2 seconds will bump to the next higher (or lower if cycling that way). Let go the button and it stays on that setting. It remembers what setting you had last selected when the light is powered off.The power outputs are pretty usable. EXTRA LOW is enough to comfortably read a book and study a map. LOW is enough for walking around a camp or setting up a tent, working hay in a shed. MEDIUM is enough for hiking or working on something like a motor or the like and is where my lamp stays 80% of the time. HIGH is bright enough to trail jog at night, but is at the point for me where the light is annoying for up close tasks, too bright and too much reflection. TURBO is noble! It is bright enough that it will light our acreage from the porch. Totally useless for up close…you will just end of squinting. The lights throw is great! It does have little bit of haloing, but the dispersion is about perfect and there are no dark spots in the pattern. The light can get a little hot on the highest settings, but not too terrible. I have not run it more than a half hour and even on the 4th setting it was not annoyingly warm. Not sure how long the battery’s charge will hold. I run Panasonic 3000mah cells and have never run the lamp to start cutting out.One thing I did change, the band. It is adequate, but it is a lighter weight elastic and my experience with bands that feel like the stock band has been that they do not last long. I changed out out with a third party band that is made with an elastic that holds up well. The band is 1″ which are typical.Totally recommend this headlamp!Update (250824): I have now been using this headlamp daily (nightly, actually) for 3 years and it is still going strong. It is almost exclusively on the third output level as this is bright enough for just about everything I do around the ranch past sundown. I still have the 18650 cell that is came with and it holds a charge after about 150 charging cycles. It is the only cell I have used it in and no issues or concerns after a few years of service. It has proven to be good enough for the draw this light pulls in an hour or two of runtime per evening. While the price has increased a bit since I purchased mine, I still feel that the quality my copy has exhibited makes it a good deal.I read one review that mentioned that they did not feel the headlamp was very bright. That has not been my experience. The emitters are definitely bright, the reflectors are shallow with a low angle that appear to be designed for a wide spill and just about zero throw. This is actually a positive for me as I use the lamp to light a fairly wide work area with free hands. At the third setting, everything is nicely illuminated with virtually no hot spot in the center of the area. If I need throw, I have a C8 based torch that will punch out across a few acres for coyote deterrence. This headlamp looks to be designed for evenly lighting a work area inside of about 10 meters on the middle setting.

Super bright! Super price!
Strong sturdy light that turns night to day while keeping a long lasting battery life. Doesn’t take long to charge and last a very long time. Great price compared to others with same lumen ratings.
