Good value, not sticky or smelly
Purchased for sunburn. Does exactly as advertised. Packaging is appropriate and the quality appears to be consistent and good. It soothed the sunburn and did not have any extra irritations. There was no stickiness, you just poured into your hand and gently dab it on or rub it in as needed. Easy to use. Easy to open. And it seems like a good value so I bought two of them.

    Works great on cooking burns
I use this more for burns than sun burns (accidental oven or pan touches) and it works wonderfully. It’s quick to put on a burn, cools the burn just as well as cool water and is less inconvenient than holding the injured skin in a bowl of water. I don’t know about for sunburns, but for small burns, the bottle lasts a long time since I do not need to use a lot on the burn itself. I just reapply when it dries out.

Perfect for that moment of stupidity on your part
My father and I share our Amazon account- I bought this aloe in tandem with the sunscreen for my trip to Rio. Thanks to how great the sunscreen is, I was only burned once. It was a pretty cloudy day, so I didn’t put any sunscreen on until later in the day, and when I did, I entirely neglected to put any on my chest. The burn was enough to be annoying, but as soon as I went back I put this aloe on.It can be a little intimidating at first. The smell is strong and you get a knee jerk reaction that it is definitely going to sting when you put it on. When you finally work up the guts to put it on your body, it’s a much better experience than any aloe I’ve had before. Other aloes feel like you jump from one extreme to the other- very hot to shoving ice cubes on your chest and then within minutes, it simmers back to feeling way too hot. This aloe does not give that initial jolt of cool, but it does not warm up quickly at all. The lidocaine is very soothing and allowed me to sleep with no irritation in that area. After the fact- the only thing left on me from the burn is a bit of redness. It’s been 2 days since I was burned, so for a normal person, that might sound normal, but for me it is not. I am basically a walking piece of tinfoil under a heat lamp. Once it gets in, it does not want to go out. For this burn to already be dissipating with only mild application of aloe is absolutely amazing- especially considering I took the entire bottle with me, anticipating to use the entire thing. I only ended up using 1 quarter sized drop to cover my chest from the shoulders and neck to my armpits. It spreads very well, just like the sunscreen, and once you’ve put it on, the strong smell calms itself down and stops it’s direct assault on your nostrils.Overall, it was a very pleasant product and I will be gladly buying it again 5 years from now, because this bottle is probably never going to run out.

    Refrigerate for best results!
It’s an aloe gel with a little bit of topical lidocaine for pain numbing. If you’ve got a really bad sunburn, this is unlikely to really make a dent. But it can help briefly and helps with moisturisation. Like many gels, it will leave you feeling a little sticky.

Works great and is cooling on the sunburn
This helped me so much when I got burned in Miami. It does cool down and help the burning. I love how it does not to greasy or sticky and does not irritate the sunburn. I also love the appearance and love that the scent is very mild and absorbs into the skin nice. If I get burnt again I will repurchase but I hope I don’t have to so I don’t get sunburn again lol

Non sticky, cooling, pain relief, and pleasant scent
I know, I know. I should have used sun screen. But let me tell you- this stuff really does wonders specifically for cooling and pain relief. It doesn’t feel sticky or oily and soaks in pretty quick.I’m happy that the first ingredient isn’t alcohol and the spearmint scent isn’t too strong or overbearing. It gives just enough cooling for relief and honestly smells refreshing.Seeing other brands having more or less lidocaine- it’s safe to say that the amount in this is just right. It doesn’t make your skin feel numb but it definitely helps with taking the sting away.I would still find a product that is moisturizing to put on top once this soaks in. At least it doesn’t make you feel dry and it doesn’t give that weird tight feeling.

    Soothing Relief for Sunburned Skin
Using the Australian Gold Aloe Vera with Lidocaine Spray Gel has been a game-changer in my DIY sunburn care routine. It provides instant relief from the pain and itching caused by sunburns, making it an essential item in my summer arsenal. What I appreciate most about this product is its cooling effect. The spray gel formula combines aloe vera with lidocaine, delivering a soothing sensation that immediately calms irritated skin. It’s incredibly effective in reducing discomfort, allowing me to relax and recover faster after a day in the sun.One thing to note is the gel’s consistency—it’s lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. This makes it convenient to apply and reapply throughout the day, ensuring continuous relief from sunburn symptoms. While the spray bottle design is convenient, it can sometimes dispense more product than needed with a single spray, which can lead to over-application. Adjusting the spray pressure or distance can help control the amount dispensed more accurately.I primarily use this gel for treating sunburns, but its multi-functional nature extends to soothing other skin irritations like insect bites and minor burns. The fresh scent is pleasant and not overpowering, which adds to the overall soothing experience. In conclusion, the Australian Gold Aloe Vera with Lidocaine Spray Gel is a lifesaver for anyone dealing with sunburn discomfort. Its fast-acting relief, non-greasy formula, and versatile application make it a staple in my summer skincare routine.

Great for bug bites, rashes, or sunburn!
It’s the highest percentage lidocaine aloe gel that I could find and it works very well.It smells like spearmint gum, too!
