Perfect Day bag for a photographer!
So many backpack style camera bags out there today it seems are made to fit every single lens and accessory you own all at once and ONLY camera equipment. This bag has enough room for my Canon 5D to fit along with maybe two lenses and a few accessories that I would want to take with me out and about while on vacation. But it also has a separate area on top for the things I’m going to need to bring with me like my wallet phone Etc. This is a great little day bag. I love the side pocket quick and easy to get my camera out when I want it without having to move everything around to get to it! I also like that when I take my camera out the inside dividers are strong enough to hold up everything on top and don’t lose their shape while my camera is being used so it’s very easy to put back. I love the canvas material that this bag is made out of. Especially like the little hook that allows me to lock all of the zippers together as kind of an extra layer of protection. No way someone’s going to get those undone without me noticing. the zipper pulls even come close enough together to put a small travel lock on if you wish. Just an all-around really really good bag.

You’ll need some creativity to make it work for atypical setups
I am a fairly serious hobbyist photographer with a crop sensor camera. I wanted a bigger bag that didn’t necessarily look like a camera bag, so I could hold more lenses and accessories compared to my trusty sling bag. My everyday setup includes a wide angle lens (77mm) with a creative magnetic filter system, so the typical configurations for this bag quickly became problematic. The two L shaped pieces became too awkward to use together. I ended up using some of the inserts from my sling bag to try to put together a configuration that worked for me, but because those pieces were shorter, it created additional issues with smaller lenses falling out when the bag is upright. The secure straps that come with this bag aren’t long enough and aren’t adjustable to be able to easily account for this. I came up with an idea to use the other L piece to be a bit of a front flap “door” to prevent the smaller lenses from falling out as it’s a very spacious bag. I feel a bit better about this but wish the bag has more inserts so I didn’t have to come up with the extra pieces myself. To be clear, the inserts that come with this bag are very nice and thick. I just wish I had more of them.Beyond this, I think the tripod holder works alright but I’m more than likely going to just carry my tripod anyway. The extra gear makes the bag fairly heavy and I am not sure I trust the bag fully yet to also make a tripod hang off it.The backpack straps feel great and sturdy. That said, I’m concerned about the top handle. I would not want to pull the bag up by that handle alone, given how much gear I put in here. I would want to use both backpack straps to pull it up just to be safe. If the handle was made of the same material as the back pack straps, I’d feel better about it.My Surface Pro 4 feels pretty secure and safe in here. The padding along the back of the backpack is really nice. That and the padded straps are the best part. The top part is great for all my lens filters and additional accessories. The zippers seem nice, and I like the anti-theft features. The side access for the camera is also great.Overall I do like this bag. I made it work for me. You’ll definitely need some creativity to make this work for atypical setups.

One of my favorite purchases!
I have had this bag for several years now and let me tell you it is amazing! I have travelled with it and used it as a carry-on; I love it so much. Holds 3 of my lenes, SD card holder, batteries and charger. I love that it has the velcro inserts so you can change the size of the compartments or remove them if needed. It holds my clients wallets, keys, hair accessories and sunglasses during sessions so we do not risk having to set them down and loosing them or stepping on them by accident! It also did not cost me $250+ like other camera bags that I’ve seen.

5 Months with no major issues
I’ve had this camera bag now for 5 months. I’ve taken it with me on all my shoots over the summer and into the fall with no major issues. As with many things a camera bag is something, this is unique and personal for individuals, so keep that in mind if you are considering this bag. The positives; it feels well made and has plenty of space for a camera, lenses, accessories, a side pocket for a small tripod, a top area for stuff, and a slide-in area for an iPad or small laptop. The dividers that come with it for the main compartment are nice, but due to the side that opens up, you are limited in how the area can be configured. As for the side door, it is a nice concept and I’m sure it that there are some users that will appreciate it for a quick access point for their camera. For me, I thought I might use it, but it hasn’t be useful. One more comment concerning the dividers and the layout. Due to me having a smaller camera, a Canon M50, the weight, and size it would bounce around, so I had to add some foam pieces to help secure the inside area. As with many things, I’m sure that I will probably rearrange the inside of the bag at some point and try something different with it. So back to my initial thoughts on it. I feel it is well made and should hold up for an extended period of time. For me, it is comfortable and serves the purpose that I needed from it which was to carry my camera and gear on my location shoots. Yes, I would recommend this camera bag, especially at the price point, but I would also recommend that you take a close look at the pictures of it and decide if the design matches your needs.
