    Small
Normally I love bagsmart bags. Not this time.Too small. Although it is lightweight, there is not enough padding for a semi professional camera set up.

    ALMOST There!
I was very pleased when I received my backpack. It was pretty much (almost) exactly what I was hoping for; I removed one star only because it wasn’t slightly deeper and am still not entirely sold on the front entry system, but otherwise, it’s great.I don’t like having to lug around my camera backpack, carrying around the ‘kitchen sink’ on my back instead of just a few select pieces of gear for a shorter outing. I’ve never really bothered buying multiple bags as honestly, it just seemed wasteful having a bunch of bags that function exactly the same with convenience as the only difference between them… well.. I’m tired of feeling like I have to pack everything in my large camera backpack as I’m always afraid (even admittedly illogically so), that if compartments are not used that will somehow mean that my gear could shift all around and risk damage. Of course the answer is ‘no’.. that would be a RARE situation it would even be a possibility… but even so, the paranoia is there. I don’t want to be focusing on my backpack but rather on either the hike or setting up for a shot. Bagsmart entry stage right. if I know I’m just going to be out for a short hike where I know I’m not going to want my full gear/full size tripod, I can just grab the specific gear I want, pack it comfortably and securely in the bag, sling the backpack on and off I go. It’s exactly that. I elected to go with a bag that is deep enough to handle the largest camera I own – a Nikon D850 with a battery pack and L-bracket. Anyone who has this camera knows it’s a beast of a camera.. With my D850, battery grip, and L-bracket all on, admittedly, it does not sit flush with the top of the bag opening (that was a source for the rating deduction). It sits very close to flush but about 3/4″ to 1″ too shallow. HOWEVER, even so, if you organize the bag well, you can lay it on it’s side on the bottom of the bag, you can STILL close the bag without feeling like it is going to tear the zippers off; it closes snugly but easily. Of course that just means that you can’t pack a lot of goodies with you, but as I say, I was looking for a bag that would minimize the gear I brought, no just reorganize it. If you do not have a battery grip, big cage, or massive L-bracket on your camera, this bag is going to be absolutely perfect. As soon as I pull off the battery grip there is plenty of depth to spare in the bag (but of course that isn’t practical… I’m not going to make the camera fit the bag and waste time having to take off and put back on a battery grip… I’m simply going to buy a bag that fits the gear. I would not want to use this bag with a cage… L bracket is tight as it is.I REALLY like that shelf in the middle. Brilliant. I was almost immediately sold on it when I started setting up the compartments. It is so sturdy and really does inspire a lot of confidence that even packing my camera on the bottom, I don’t feel as if everything on the top is just going to crush it. The central divider is stiff and protective. The pockets are all nicely positioned and I do like where they elected to place the buckles (for the size of the bag, though, I really don’t think that chest strap is necessary, but you can find other uses for it, so it is okay I suppose). The buckles are the standard clipping variety and quality seems good and as expected. It is a nice design they elected to make it expandable on the back to accommodate a computer, but, honestly I would almost prefer that the expandable function would deepen the camera bag, but again, as the intent of the bag use is very specific, it wasn’t a deal breaker and continues not to be. What I am still a little wary of though (which is the source of the rating deduction as well), is that the bag opens from the front and not the back; just from a rig security standpoint. I am going to be concerned that somehow a zipper will be caught or slide open and all of my gear will spill out (since the bag totally opens, hinging on the bottom). But, admittedly that is still easily solved by just using something as simple as a twist-tie to secure zippers together. The bag is very comfortable to wear (padding is excellent), the straps easy to adjust. We’ll see how it performs in the heat (i.e. if it will still be comfortable in the summer heat) but right now it seems just fine. There are some spots where you can attach a carabiner or two should you desire I suppose. The side pockets are deep enough to accommodate a water bottle and the tripod holder works well enough. It handles a light travel tripod nicely. I wouldn’t use this for a hefty tripod, though, but if you’re considering purchasing this bag, that wasn’t likely a consideration to begin with. The bag is about the same dimensions as a standard midsized day pack. And the rain cover addition is certainly a very nice touch so will handle a little inclement weather nicely (although for me, in general I tend to find rain covers more of an annoyance as for the most part, all they do is to just delay the inevitable unless the bag is waterproof). But, again, given the intent of my purchase, that wasn’t a deal breaker, but is worth saying nonetheless for someone who’s considering its weather resistance capabilities. For me, the size is absolutely perfect; that was a huge consideration. I kept getting very disappointed finding a bag of the same general dimensions only to find it was simply too shallow. So, overall, if you are considering this bag, I definitely think it is a worthy competitor of the other manufacturers and the price is indeed very attractive. I would say, for the price, this is a great bag. Only time will tell regarding durability but the build quality does seem good. In terms of combined size, cost, configuration capability, and practicality, this is a bag that should be seriously considered as an addition to your gear.

    Well made
When I received it I wasn’t sure that it would fit all of my photo equipment that I needed to use, due to the fact that when I held it up to my old backpack they were the same size. But after loading it up with the things I had in the other bag I still had room for other lenses, and other equipment. Although it was a little heavy due to extra equipment the bag carried nicely on my back and was comfortable. The exasperation capability on the bag I was also able to fit a rain jacket and rain pants into it. Very nice bag. So far with the wight of the bag it seems to be holding up nicely.

    Works alright.
The bag is convenient, but the organizers don’t stay very well. I’m constantly having to fix the organizers. Cool idea though.

Strap came loose. Getting a new camera now… 🙁
Bought this 7 months ago. I’m now $2,000 poorer in a camera when the strap unexpectedly slid out, crashing it to the floor. It was fine all morning – and then, crash. Not sure if the plastic tore before or after it fell. But the end result was the same.

    Amazing Versatile Camera Backpack!
This camera equipment backpack has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear! The versatility inside is fantastic, and the quality is solid and durable. I absolutely love the number of zippers and pockets it offers, making it incredibly easy to access and store everything I need for a full day of shooting. One of the best features is the spacious design—you can fit your iPad, laptop, cameras, multiple lenses, and still have room for extras like batteries, SD cards, and more! It’s organized in such a thoughtful way that everything has its place, and I never feel like I’m searching for anything. For anyone who needs a reliable, well-designed backpack that keeps your equipment safe and accessible, I 100% recommend this one. It’s been a game-changer for me!

This sort of bag is my bag… baby.
5/25: Great looking bag at a great price! I have only had it for a bit but the stitching seems to be good quality, I thought it would be heavier but there is plenty of padding so we shall see how the bag fares full of camera gear/GoPro gear & my laptop when on trips.Upon receipt of the backpack I am able to fit all of my gear snugly into the bag in the way I wanted to organize everything. (I also used extra padding from an old camera bag to create extra compartments and/or add padding to certain areas). Everything fit well. Lots of pockets for all the accessories to boot!
