Well at least it looks good
I think the unit I received is defective. It seems to power on but it does not warm or brew. It’s disappointing, because I love the form factor and color. I was planning on showing off this thing at work – if it worked.

Perfect for Travelers, Hikers, and Every Coffee Lover!
I am absolutely thrilled with this portable espresso maker! If you love great coffee on the go—whether you’re hiking, camping, road-tripping, or catching flights—this little machine is a total game changer.First, it’s surprisingly lightweight (only about 1.3 lbs!) but feels solid thanks to the stainless steel and ABS design. It fits perfectly in my backpack, and I love that it’s easy to take apart and clean after a long day outdoors. The heating feature is fantastic—water heats up in around 3 minutes, and I get a rich, frothy espresso in under 5. I’ve tried both hot and cold water brewing, and it works beautifully either way. The built-in 7500mAh battery lasts much longer than I expected. I can get several cups from cold water or so many when using hot water. Plus, being able to charge it via USB or in my car is incredibly convenient. It also feels thoughtfully designed: leak-proof, insulated, and super simple with one-touch operation. I appreciate that it comes with a reusable cup, filter, and capsule holder—everything I need in one compact setup. If you’re giving this as a Christmas gift for a coffee or espresso lover, trust me—they’ll be obsessed. Just remember to check that the sealing ring is in place and the capsule compartment is tightly closed, and you’re good to go.Overall, a fantastic portable espresso maker and easily one of my favorite travel gadgets of the year!

Works okay but I will stick with an expresso or coffee pot
For me camping and coffee go together like bread and butter. This nifty little machine makes a lot of promises, some kept.My first frustration was charging. A very short cable was provided, but no charger, so I used a typical phone cube charger, which puts out one amp. After about 3 hours it still wasn’t charged, so I went to bed and found it done by morning. You need to allow ample time to charge, or a bigger charger, which kind of undermines its convenience for camping. The second snag I ran into was the required size of the coffee pods. The box and instructions speak about large and small pods, but my standard Kuerig pods were too large to fit. I am still unsure what pods to buy that do fit, but these were the only “expresso” style that my local grocery store carried. Frustrating.I then tried the regular coffee grind approach, a tiny scoop is provided but no mention of how much coffee to use, so I simply tried filling the ground coffee container to the top. I then filled the top part with cold well water, pressed the power button twice and waited the specified five minutes. I timed it and the my first shot of expresso actually took 8 minutes 16 seconds. I tried two more rounds back to back with an elapsed time of 6 minutes 10 seconds, followed by 7 minutes 20 seconds. So not 5 minutes, but reasonable enough. I assume it varies depending on the temperature of the water you put in. After the 3 shots of expresso the unit needed to be recharged, so expect that’s all you’re going to get in a day.The expresso itself was okay, but it lacked the body I get from my trusty little expresso pot. The volume is enough for an expresso shot, but not a cup of coffee. So the bottom line is this expresso maker works, but I can get more done in less time and have better expresso using a regular pot. Maybe this is okay on the road if you can’t stop to make a pot, but for me the limitations outweigh any promises of convenience.
