Very good pair of boots
Very comfortable ! I haven’t found a pair of boots this comfortable and very well built ! I’m not sure about water proof I walked through the yard a couple hours after it rain my socks stayed dry but other then that I put about 47 miles in on these last couple of weeks paired up with some wool dickies boot socks and I have not had any issues no sore feet no blisters they have great arch support and ankles are loving them lol very light weight also

Excellent – first time hiking boot.
Nice shoe! First pair of hiking boots, took them on a 10 mile hike through dirt trails, gravel road, and rock scramble. It held up better than expected! I even thought with the suede top it would easily get dirty/stained – that was somehow not the case (though I would put some protective spray or wash off if you want to preserve the shoe).Comfortable, no blisters, I would recommend.

1st four mile hike 🥾
This is an initial review based on first day of use. The hike started off with temperatures in the high 60s but within an hour was over 75° . I walked 4 miles on and off-road. Half of the hike was on leaf covered gravel trail while the other half was pavement.Appearance: appealing active light, trailblazer style. With an aggressive tread. Time will reveal how the suede exterior holds up. I’m concerned these boots do not have rubber surrounding/ protecting the toes against damage and tears caused by traversing rocks, and roots.Wearability: I was impressed with the fitment and comfort right out of the box, I expect comfort may improve after a break-in. The inner soul was firm but comfortable,, lacking arch support.Breathability: these boots were adequate. I didn’t notice excessive heat buildup despite the long hike and rising temperatures. They remain comfortable.Traction: I rate the souls very good too excellent. Sure footed. Firm but pliable.Value: this color was on sale! I was persuaded by the discount, but not at the cost of ignoring quality feature features.I think it’s a good choice and a good value.

Super shoes, extremely happy. Not a day during our trip tomItah we didn’t talk about them. Very comfortable, making you feel secure and great on rocks. Fantastic grip.Wonderful for hikes – we had no issues with our feet, not even after walking in water in the Zion narrows for a couple hours. Very happy with this purchase

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose these Columbia hiking boots because I have had good experience in the past with Columbia. These boots arrived this morning, and after walking around the house in them for an hour to ensure that the seemingly wonderful fit and comfort would last, I wore them to the nature center and completed a difficult 2 1/2 mile hike. They performed beautifully! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Ease of use:

Very good and comfortable. It feels like a walking tennis shoe. And looks nice. It’s not bulky. Perfect for being a boot. It is like an everyday walking shoe for winter time. I like them.

I bought these Columbia Newton Ridge Plus II boots for my husband, and he’s really happy with them. They were comfortable from day one and didn’t need much breaking in. He wears them for hikes, working outside, and even casual walks. They keep his feet dry in light rain, and the grip is solid on trails.
