Good value for multi-season jacket
Nice lightweight jacket if on a budget. Fabric on the inside is soft. It kept me warm enough on a 40 degree, damp day. Enough extra room to wear layers underneath. Waist cinches tight to waist to keep cold breezes from coming up and under the coat. Extra large fit my 6ft 210lb frame well. The color did match what is pictured, but some of the other colors are different than the listing. Look at reviewed purchases and the pictures to make an adequate judgment on the color you like. I got thd blue originally but returned it, as it was much louder than the muted soft blue in the listing. Overall pleased with price point and quality of the jacket.

Nice Jacket
We live in Florida and this is a nice light jacket. Looks great on my husband. He loves it. It fit perfect. Bought him an XL. He’s 5’6″ and around 155lbs to 160lbs. Definitely recommend.

Zipper issues
This jacket is very comfortable and looks nice. The problem is if you zip it the zipper likes to detach from the bottom all the way to point of where it’s zipped to. I feel like the small zipper is the reason. If you’re not the type who likes to zip your jacket I would recommend.

Size runs just a little small
This is a very nicely made jacket. the recommended size for me ran a little small. I’d go up one size if I had it to do again. Very comfortable. Looks like it will last for several seasons

I worked years in men’s wear when I was younger so I have a good idea of the details to look for when it comes to finishing and design and I was immediately impressed by the stitching, pocket details, cuff material and the feel of the jacket interior and exterior.I live in northern Alberta where temperatures below -30°C (and to -50°C) are normal. -50°C is not that common but it happens, and we get below -30 every year. With that in mind, here’s my thinking on when this very nice jacket is best suited:It’s not heavy nor overly bulky and it’s best suited for cool to mid-cold weather, I’d estimate it as perfect for roughly +5°C to maybe -20°C, and somewhat colder if layered over a sweater or thermal vest, so best for late fall and early winter, then late winter and early spring. The hood is nicely sized and it has a drawstring so you can pull it tight around your face–but it won’t cover your face.I’d hesitate to wear this on its own for extended periods outside below -25°C, but it’ll certainly get you comfortably from your house or office to the car even at -40., especially because it’s very nicely wind proof. (The problem, however, is situations like if you have car troubles, no heater and you’re out with only this for an extended period. When traveling, always dress for where you might be–not for where you are.) So, in my opinion, this isn’t thick enough or thermal enough for safety in extreme winter.100% polyester, too, and that’s good because polyester keeps its thermal properties even when wet, unlike cotton, for example because its synthetic and non-absorbent. Since it doesn’t soak up water like cotton and some other fabrics and because, again, unlike other fabrics) it doesn’t rely on trapped air in its fibers for warmth. And it dries fairly quickly, too, compared to other many fabrics. All very good qualities in cold and colder weather gear.happy to give this a full 5 stars.

This Men’s Lightweight Softshell Jacket from WULFUL is a great choice for late Fall or early Spring when the weather can change from cool in the morning to quite warm during the afternoon and back to cool again in the evening. It’s fairly lightweight and not very bulky, but it will keep you warm, dry and protected from the elements. The jacket is made from a blend of 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex so the material has some stretch to it and will move with you rather than being tight and constricting. The softshell exterior has a very premium look and feel and is both windproof and water resistant while the interior of the jacket is fully lined (body, arms and hood) with a nice microfleece that’s soft to the touch and provides great insulation from the cold. The jacket has a full length wind flap under the front zipper to help keep out wind and rain and a chin protector so you can zip it up completely without it getting caught on your skin. The large attached hood is warm and comfortable to wear and has an adjustable bungee cord on each side as well as an adjustable bungee on the back of the hood so you can get a nice snug fit around your head. There’s a small zippered pocket on the left arm for items like credit cards or some cash, and two zippered side pockets that are quite deep. The side pockets can easily accommodate your wallet, keys, cellphone or even a 500ml water bottle. The sleeves have elasticized ribbed cuffs that extent about 1″ past the actual sleeve and provide a nice snug fit around your wrists to keep out the weather. There are two adjustable bungee cords on the hem so you can get a tight fit around your waist to prevent wind from coming up from underneath.I’m 5′ 11″, 190 lbs with a 42″ chest so I ordered my regular size which is a Medium. The jacket is a standard fit with a straight cut from the chest to the hem so it has a somewhat fitted look on me. There’s plenty of room around my chest so I can wear a heavier sweater or several thinner layers underneath and still have room to move around comfortably. The body is a good length and extends about 6″ past my waist and fully covers my lower back. The sleeves are a great length too and the ribbed cuffs extend about 2″ past my wrists.I’m very happy with the quality, fit and how lightweight and warm this jacket is, so I’m giving this a highly recommended and 5 out of 5 stars.

Really happy with this softshell jacket. It’s lightweight but still warm thanks to the fleece lining, and it does a good job blocking wind and light rain. The fit is comfortable with enough room for layering underneath. I’ve worn it hiking in Banff and Lake Louise as well as just running errands. Feels well-made and durable for the price. The army green is more on the sage green side but still a super flattering colour. I think it’s pretty true to size.

Overall, this is a very comfortable and well built jacket. I got the black in XL size and it fits well, but on the snug side for me. Not sure if that’s the jacket’s fault or my own vanity. I would go with 2XL if I was going to do any serious layering under this. I really like the sleeves which are a proper length for me and not too long. Also the cuffs on the sleeve are very comfortable and keep the sleeve in place on your wrist. Kind of like elastic sweater sleeves. Can you tell I’m not a clothing expert and don’t know the proper names for these things? The hood also fits decently nice and is decently long at the front almost like the brim of a hat which would be nice in the rain. I haven’t worn it in the rain as of yet so I can’t speak to the water resistance, but I did stick my arm under a tap and there is decent beading. I know that you can’t have breathable and water proof at the same time. If you want water PROOF, you are basically wearing thick plastic or full on rubber or maybe leather. Think plastic rain coat. Anything actually jacket like is going to be breathable and just water resistant. This seems reasonably water resistant to me and if it can bead off water from the tap, simple rain would be quite a bit easier in my mind. The zippers seem to be of decent quality. There doesn’t seem to be a name or anything. On the tag that was on the jacket did have a line claiming YKK zippers, but none of the zippers on mine actually have YKK on them and I’ve never heard of a YKK zipper without YKK on it. Normally, this would be a huge red flag for me, but since this was never mentioned at all on the Amazon page, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and perhaps that label simply needs to be updated. If they had YKK on the listing anywhere, this would be a totally different story and I’d be immediately be removing 3 stars just for that. That all being said, the zippers do feel like good quality and certainly not junk.Overall, the materials and the build seem to all be of high quality to me and it’s very comfortable if not layering. One issue I have is the logo, but I’m a bit of a stickler for those things. I hate logos. In my mind, it’s like wearing a billboard. In a perfect world, logos would all be restricted to tags on the inside of clothes. Though this one is fairly inoffensive and small. Reminiscent of a mountain range with the moon over it as a dot or something followed by an F. My brain goes to M.F though I have no idea what that has to do with ‘WULFUL’. Would be a great logo for something called a ‘Mountain Fleece’. There. Free tip for WULFUL. Market this as the WULFUL Mountain Fleece and the logo now makes sense. I might take a sharpie to it, but first I should probably research if that’s a good idea.Lastly, for the value, this is currently listed at $80 CAD and that seems to be a good price for something of this level of build quality and comfort. While I did get this through vine, if I had paid $80 CAD for this, I would not be upset and would consider this good value for money.I’ll update this review if anything happens re water resistance wise or quality wise as I wear it more.
