Rugged, Dependable, Quality, Easy to Use and Fast Charging Portable Power Station
I purchased a Jackery Explorer 300 Portable Power Station on 9-1-2020 and it arrived a few days later via FedEX. My decision to purchase the E300 was based on the results of my previous experience with a Jackery E160, E500 and a Jackery E1000. I found the Jackery Power Station to be very useful, easy to use and easy to charge with the Jackery SolarSaga 100W Solar Panel, AC Charger or the Car Port. I use the E300 to power my small electrical devices during the power outages that often occur after storms or traffic accidents in my area. The E1000 will take care of powering my Maytag Refrigerator/Freezer but I needed another power station and I chose one with more capacity than the E160 for some of the longer power outages.I have tested the E300 with several LED & CFL lights that can be used in table lamps and the best one is a 14W Grt Val 1500 Lum LED ‘DayLight’ bulb, It draws 20 Watts and the E300 will power it for 12-14 Hours from 100% to 10% battery charge levels. The fan will run part time and is very quite. I place the LED light bulb in a small table lamp and it can be moved as needed. You probably already have LED’s in your table lights so just use one of them. I also tested a Philips 11 Watt 1000 Lumens LED light for 6 Hours and the E300 charge level decreased from 90% to 60%. I also tested a 5 Watt Onite 400 Lumens USB LED light for 9 Hours and the charge only changed from 90% to 75%. Any of these three choices are a big improvement over my LED lanterns that start out bright but quickly dim unless you run them on low power. As a result of purchasing the E300 I have retired several of my D-Cell LED lanterns that were being used for the power outages and replaced them with table lamps, rechargeable LED Lights and flashlights with rechargeable AA & AAA batteries.I have a UPS to protect my desktop computer that gives me 20 minutes of runtime in a blackout but if I plug the UPS with the connected computer into my E300 I can extend the operating time at least two more hours. My internet also provides my telephone service and the U-Verse modem needs power or I lose telephone service. The Power Lift Chair can operate from the E300. The “Merlin@Home” Transmitter needs power to send pacemaker data and worked just fine when tested.I like having more than one power station because I won’t need extension cords for each device that I want to power and that also lets me place then in different parts of the house. The E300 has some new features that were not on the E240. The AC Inverter is now 300 Watts (pure sine wave), the 13.3 Volt regulated car port output has a nice cover and the USB output has 60W PD USB-C, QC3.0 USB-A, USB type A port (2.4A). The MPPT charger provides faster charge rates from solar (5.5H), AC (4.5H) and from a car port (5H).An important feature of the Jackery Explorer 300 is the pass through charging can be used to supply power continuously to a critical load by charging the E300 from the DC Carport on another Jackery Explorer. If the load on the E300 is 75 Watts or less the E300 will stay almost fully charged. The Jackery (E1000, E500, E440, HLS290, E240 or E160) can supply power until their battery is exhausted. This method will allow you to keep the E300 in a critical place without the need to move it outside to recharge by a Solar Panel or Generator. The other Jackery Explorer unit can then be moved and recharged as needed. The DC charging cable you will need is supplied with the Jackery Explorer 300.The E300 is much more useful than just for power outages and I am discovering more uses every day. The E300 provided power when the wife needed a heating pad while setting in a wheel chair a few days ago. I have a solid state Oscilloscope that the Jackery E300 can power for several hours and that makes one of my best pieces of test equipment truly portable. The E160 and the E300 are used to provide power for my Ham Radio equipment when operating at temporary locations. Two things that would help with my Ham Radio Equipment is the addition of Anderson PowerPole connectors on the DC input and DC output. This would help when charging the E300 and powering my radio equipment from the E300. The ability to turn off the “Auto-power off feature when the draw is under 10 watts” would really be handy. This feature is great for saving the battery but not so good when powering tranceivers that are monitoring an emergency radio frequency. You just might miss your call. For maximum battery power, charge Lithium-ion Batteries every 6 months to compensate for the self discharge and for longer life, charge before going below the 20% charge level. The Jackery Explorer 300 is well worth the price and is expected to provide excellent service for many years. Here are some photos of just a few of the items that the E300 can power.Jackery Explorer 300 Waveform; Heating Pad on Wheelchair; AA & AAA Battery Chargers; Rechargeable lights; Ham Radio Equipment; Jackery Explorer 300 with accessories; AC, DC & USB fans; Solar Charging in Morning Sun; Power lift Chair; Oscilloscope; AC, DC & USB Powered Lights

Perfect for car camping
I’m impressed with this little generator. It charges up quickly, and I can charge 4 to 6 smartphones from almost empty to full, using a USB-C cord or a fast charging plug. I took it camping this summer and it was very convenient to have along: it tucks into the corner of my SUV’s cargo area (it’s a little too large to fit in the storage pocket but oh well), out of the way of the other camping equipment. I used it to charge my phone while making breakfast, and charged my headlamps at the same time. The solar panel works well — it isn’t as fast as plugging the generator into a wall socket, but it charges surprisingly fast on a sunny day when aimed precisely. This will be good for power outages in the winter; it’s not adequate to run a heater or refrigerator (I have a gas-powered generator for that) but I can keep my phone charged and lamps powered.

High-quality, charges quick, lasts forever
Jackery makes high-quality products and this one is no exception. It charges quickly, the battery lasts forever, and it’s easy to use and portable. I had this thing powering basically an entire campsite for two days and it never ran out of charge.

Powerhouse in a Small Package
This portable power station is amazing beyond words. It handled everything I threw at it, kept devices charged without slowing down, and made me wonder why I didn’t buy one sooner. Reliable, compact, and surprisingly powerful. Total lifesaver.

Excellent Battery for the Weight
I bought this a little over 2 years ago to power my telescope mount and accessories. This has been the best battery I’ve found. Relatively light weight and will run all night long and still have power to charge my ipad, iphone and iwatch. I love it so much I got the 1000v2 however I still default to this one due to the weight. For longer trips I’ll take the 1000v2, but for shorter trips, the 300 is always with me. The only negative I’ve found is trying to charge it from a solar panel. It has a finicey charge port and doesn’t work with most 7909 plugs. It does fine with the included wall charger, but the 7909 plugs on most solar panels won’t make a connection. I finally found an adaptor that fits an 8020 connector (which is what the 1000v2 needs) and it’s charging fine now. But I had to buy several before finding the right one. If it wasn’t for that – 5 Stars all the way.

Extra charge
Works great. Easy to carry as it’s light. Holds the charge a long time. I haven’t tried the solar charging yet.

Excellent CPAP backup
This battery backup suited my needs perfectly. I bought it for one purpose: to power my CPAP machine during power outages. This unit performed perfectly in that regard. The unit arrived with a small case of accessories (car adapter, AC adapter, manual, etc). I particularly liked the inclusion of the car adapter. The unit was at 54% when it arrived; it took about 2.5 hours to fill all the way up. The display will tell your wattage, coming in and going out. It also includes a good selection of power points, with 110 AC, 12v DC, USB fast chargers, etc.For those who are trying to guess how long a battery will last, this unit makes it easy. It tells you how many watts you’re drawing. For instance, my CPAP draws 23 watts to run at full blast (no humidifier). At 293 watts on a full charge, I can run a 23 watts CPAP for over twelve hours. This unit went from 100% to 37% after 8 hours of sleep, so the math checks out.The most important thing is that this unit can guarantee a full night’s sleep in a power outage. I literally cannot sleep without my machine, so this backup is exactly what I needed. If you have a CPAP, this is what you want. Just make sure you shut off your humidifier (mine added a full 20w, bringing the total draw to 43w).

I purchased this product specifically to off grid power a Resmed 10 Cpap unit . It did not disappoint. It ran efficiently all night on a 100% charge ( with 31-38% remaining after 8 hrs. ) . I used it 3 consecutive nights. Each morning I recharged the unit using all three methods ( outlet plug in/ solar panel / and 12 volt car charger). The wall outlet recharged to 100% in about 90 minutes. The solar panel varied with the weather ( from 4 to 7 hrs). The 12 volt car charger took roughly 2 1/2 hrs.The unit is compact and easy to haul ( for kayak/ canoe trips) .The solar panel appears durable and is light .I highly recommend.

You need to have one of these. Its a must for camping, festivals, work, just everyday life! It will power a JBL 310 Monitor Speaker for 6-8hrs. This has recharged battery packs for my heated boots, vest, My phone, vape, and JBL Charge 5 Bluetooth speaker at work everyday for 2 weeks before I had to charge it again. If you ever find you need power somewhere that an extension chord just won’t do, you need this Power Station!!

This is a great power pack to keep all your electronics and batteries, such as cellphones, cameras, drones etc., charged up when outside the power grid. It’s a great balance between size and weight. I often use it on my camping trips while filming content for my YouTube channel. If you buy a separate 100 Watt solar panel to charge it up, you can be in the woods indefinitely. I recommend it to all those fishermen and outdoor adventurers out there! #julianoutdoors (YouTube)
