    Well-made lightweight sleeping bag
I used to camp a lot, and a couple of friends have asked if I’d be interested again. I caught this on a flash sale, and I had been thinking about getting a couple of lightweight sleeping bags. I’m 6’5”, so it can be hard to find the right size, and you pay a premium for high end bags that are extended lengths in most outdoor shops. This is full length and has room for a travel pillow inside the bag, and I still fit. Fantastic! The fill is very light, but it feels like it would be entirely appropriate for the temperature range listed, and will do even better with an insulating pad underneath, if you’re on the low end of that range. It does have a storm flap that velcros shut at the top, and everything shown in the pictures works as expected: 2-way zipper, foot box, drawstring, etc.the interior nylon is very soft, as is the fill. I wouldn’t put this bag against a heavy rain proof outer liner, but it will deflect some water. It is very lightweight, and it includes a good compression bag. It would be appropriate for hiking in and out, tent camping, or possibly hammock camping, if there’s not much wind. I’m not sure about durability, if you’re really rough on your gear, but if you take care of it, this is a good deal comparable to sleeping bags I’ve seen in the $100-150 range at some outdoor centers.

Pretty good buy overall. Not great for real cold temps
Overall I’d say it’s a good buy, IF you’re just doing basic camping. The quality & size a acceptable & (mostly) on point with how they describe i on here. BUT, I bought this to take with me on a month long section hike of the A.T, and I already regret it before even going yet..It’s heavy & bulky at over 4.5 lbs.. takes up a good chunk of the space in my 55 liter pack.. packs down okay but not great..even with compression straps attached to the case it comes in. I was trying to buy my gear at a certain budget that wouldn’t allow me to buy all the bigger more expensive name brand stuff that the people on YouTube promote in their videos.. so after compariny countless budget options on Amazon & Walmart I concluded to This sleeping bag being the best option for the more realistic price range most of us have to work with. And although it IS mostly a great buy, it will NOT keep you warm in anything under 45-50° temps..even while wearing my Long Johns, wool socks, fleece Long sleeved shirt & puffer jacket I was still too cold to get comfortable in 35-40° weather while testing out my tent & sleeping gear overnight in my back yard in Florida for the weekend..If it won’t keep me warm in Florida, it surely won’t keep me warm in the Smokey mountains.. if you’re considering buying this for any serious camping/hiking trips in cold weather below 50° I’d suggest you hold off & try to spring for something over $100, which is hard when you’re on a budget but trust me you don’t want to get stuck with This sleeping bag out in the mountains or back country during serious cold weather. You’re better off saving up a bit more for something more warm & not so heavy to carry long-term, otherwise you’re not going to have a great time, lol.

It’s quality but it’s not ultralight by any means
FYI it’s not actually ultralight. It’s lightweight, meaning that’s it’s quite LARGE but the quality is there ESPECIALLY for the price. 🤷‍♂️

    It’s a light bag
For some strange reason we go camping in early spring when it’s still pretty cold in our area. My brother brought a weather station one time and it was 19 degrees one night. We camp with extended family. Each year one of the people there has a young baby. Yet we keep doing it each year around Easter.I noticed that my old sleeping bag just wasn’t cutting it even though I surround myself in a fleece blanket within my bag, wore warm pajamas, extra warm socks, warm hat and a hoodie.I decided that it was time for a new bag. This bag made me realize part of the problem with my feet getting cold. My bag is so wide that my body can’t heat it all up. As soon as I move my feet then the new spot is cold and I can’t get it warm for a long time.So the tapering on this bag allows me to stay warmer on the bottom half. It can be a little bit too tight if you have issues with tight things. It’s also rated for lower temperatures which we do experience most years in early spring, so that will be super helpful. It’s a good color for not showing dirt.Nice item.

I recently purchased this sleeping bag for a weekend camping trip, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and incredibly comfortable. The insulation kept me warm even when the temperatures dropped at night, and the water-resistant material came in handy when there was unexpected moisture in the tent. The zipper runs smoothly and doesn’t snag, which is a huge plus. I also appreciated the spacious design—it gave me enough room to move around without feeling restricted. Whether you’re camping in the summer or during cooler seasons, this sleeping bag is a reliable companion.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality, durable, and affordable sleeping bag. I’ll definitely be taking it on all my future trips!
