Very nice and compact umbrella. My wife is very happy with it. It opens to a nice size and does the job.

Good Quality but not light weight
Nice quality with wooden handle , but much heavier than I expected. Going on a trip and wanted easy open and close plus wind resistant, so will sacrifice the weight

Windproof and easy to open and close.
Arrive one day before the rain storm and I tried it right away. It really windproof and strong. Not like other umbrella that easy to break if there’s big wind. Easy to use, to open and close just push the button. Size is good, perfect for my backpack. Love the color and. Enough to cover me alone.

Don’t oversized and compact cancel each other out??
I hate to write this review, but I feel like I need to because I’m not sure what everyone else received and the level of rain they regularly experience, but I’m flabbergasted. I live in Southern California, and we rarely get rain. However, we have been experiencing random storms lately. I purchased this umbrella after my trusty drug store umbrella finally stopped opening after using it for 10+ years. I read the description and the positive reviews and was sold. Once I received the item, our storms stopped, so I didn’t get a chance to open and test it out. Well, now Southern California is being hit with more storms the next few days, so I thought, great, I can test my new umbrella. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. However, I am slightly angry with myself because, looking at the listing details and images more closely, I should’ve caught the positive negatives that ultimately cancel each other out.I will point out a few. First, the umbrella is advertised as oversized and able to fit two people. Hey, the word “oversized” can be open for interpretation. They can be comparing it to a child’s umbrella or a doll’s umbrella. For context, I’m 5’6″, 150lbs, and it barely covered me. I’m not sure how it would fit two people under this umbrella. There are no actual images (nonstock photos) of the actual product in use with two people under it. As I write this with my clothes soaking wet, I’m thinking about the next selling point, which is that it was windproof. California is not close to a windy city, nor do we have devastating hurricanes, but there was a moment when a little gust of wind almost flipped the umbrella inside out and made me think the metal post would break in half. I don’t know. I can’t keep it and unfortunately have to return it. I’m happy for the ones who were able to make this work for them, but I just can’t be getting soaked like this, especially if I’m on the go and don’t have extra clothes with me to change into. This umbrella is very well made. Double canopy for letting the wind through so as to reduce the likelihood of turning inside out in strong wind. Not too small, not too big. More than adequately covers myself with a medium sized business backpack.
