Perfect for Rainy Days!

Totally impressed with the quality, quite evident just in the protective sleeves and packing. Smooth operation, easily opened and folded up again. I carry a compact umbrella in the car, but I prefer a full-size one if I expect to need one. The actual canopy (?) is quite large, would keep two people dry. I would certainly recommend this umbrella. When I was in my late teens, going to school, various classroom buildings were quite spread out, common to see students carrying umbrellas 🙂 Can’t resist… John Steed (Patrick McGoohan) of the 60′ show “The Avengers” always had one with him… and Dr. Henry Jones, Sr., Indiana’s father, carries one in “The Last Crusade”… I’m assuming his character for Halloween… and the usual golf umbrella just wouldn’t do 🙂

Suprisingky amazing!
Surprisingly amazing. For the price, you really can’t get a better quality umbrella that you’ll be so surprised it was only $30. I would have easily paid $200 for it, it’s lightweight, sturdy, has luxury details like the button release, it doesn’t pop open quickly and startle you, it takes a second but ends with a kind of likeness to a thud of shutting a heavy door. I ordered a black one because black can go with anything, if you think about trying to style with a sophisticated looking umbrella of all things. This is the one. The handle had me going for a second, I thought it had a gunmetal tone handle at first but it was just the plastic wrap protecting the handle. I would have preferred if the handle was a nice gunmetal aluminum. That would be so nice. But the classy looking red wood handle is fine too. I would prefer if there were handle grips on the handle like indentations for fingers to rest for added grip so it doesn’t slip out of my hand but it’s ok. Now this thing is long. It would make a nice walking stick too honestly. It also spreads WIDE. FULL COVERAGE. I’m a bigger guy and it covers me fully, not a drop of rain on me. Came with a convienient carrying sleeve with a strap to carry over the shoulder or on the back. I would definitely buy this again. I may even buy for my friends for a present. I think everybody deserves a nice umbrella, don’t you?

Best umbrella after two years of ownership
I never write reviews, but this really is the best umbrella I’ve ever owned. I bought two a couple years ago and haven’t had a single problem with either one. We use them on a regular basis and keep them in the back of the car. They are super sturdy, have a smooth opening and closing mechanism and stand up strong in the weather. They are broad enough for me and the kids to huddle under. Highly recommended!I’m about to buy my third and fourth for work.

Great umbrella! A little worn from frequent use, but holds up great in a storm!
Great umbrella! I tested it in high wind right after I got it and it holds it’s shape amazingly! I live in Florida where it rains nearly every day and every now and then the rain and wind get really heavy. So I knew I needed something sturdy. The metal tip of the umbrella is a bit smashed from walking around with it folded. And the little tips where the fabric connect to each “branch” (no clue what they’re called) can come off if snagged on something. But they slip back on easily and are still durable. So I’m not even upset that they come off. If anything, it probably prevents the fabric from ripping. The carrying case handle broke on one end. I could easily sew it back in, but instead I tied it to a key ring and clip it to my work backpack. Since the umbrella doesn’t fit in the compartment for my backpack where I work, I use that handle like a tether between that box and where the umbrella sits behind the box so I don’t forget it every time I come and go. It’s worked perfectly for me. I have coworkers who use the same exact umbrella and every one I’ve spoken to agrees that it’s excellent! It would be great if it folded up smaller and retained it’s quality. But I’ve never found a compact umbrella to ever hold up as well. I use this one frequently and I love it!

Haven’t tried it in a big rain or wind yet, but it’s nicely finished. The “strap” to carry it on your back is way too short for an adult i.e. not useful (don’t count on it).

Ich habe den Royal Walk Regenschirm in Grün gekauft. Leider hatte mein erster Schirm nach kurzer Zeit einen Defekt – aber der freundliche und unkomplizierte Produktsupport hat ihn sofort ersetzt. Ein großes Plus für den Service!Der Schirm selbst überzeugt auf ganzer Linie: Er wirkt sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, ist groß genug für zwei Personen und dank der stabilen Konstruktion auch bei starkem Wind zuverlässig. Besonders gefällt mir der elegante Holzgriff und das stilvolle Design. Außerdem ist er angenehm leicht zu tragen, die mitgelieferte Tragetasche mit Schultergurt ist praktisch für unterwegs.Alles in allem ein wirklich edler und funktionaler Regenschirm, der sich deutlich von Standardmodellen abhebt. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
