This storage bench is exactly what I needed for my entryway! It’s sturdy, well-made, and easily holds the weight it promises. Good for small entry or mudroom spaces. Smaller than expected, but sturdy.
Easy to assemble, included a hex wrench, washers, and bolts, screws needed. The pre-drilled and reinforced holes all lined up, resulting in it being stable and evenly balanced upon completion. This bench seems to be made better than most by-mail furniture, with 7/8 in. thick side leg supports and decently thick crossbars/shoe shelf slats between them. I doubt it would actually support as much weight as specified, but since it is only wide enough for one adult and a small child at most at a time, it would not need to if used as intended. As expected at this price point, the woven fabric bench seat covering is simply wrapped and stapled along with a layer of under-seat fabric. This is an advantage if you want to eventually replace the fabric or change it completely to customize the fabric and color. It could be easily charged out by removing the cushion off of the hinges, the large staples, to wrap and re-staple upholstery quality fabric. The finish on the wood was smooth, evenly applied, and free from damage, but I would recommend a second coat or eventual touch-up coat of poly for durability. However, the thin finish means it would be easy to sand and restrain or stain a different color if needed or desired. ** Actual finished size in inches was 31 3/8” total width of seat with legs, 16 5/8” tall seat height from the floor, and 13 1/4” from the widest point at the back bottom of the leg to front edge of the leg. Seat alone measures about 11 1/2 “ X 29”.

Had to drill own holes all the way through
Product seemed to be good quality but the holes on one side were not drilled all the way through, so I had to drill them, which made the wood chip. It also seems to be a bit uneven, I’m not sure if that’s the plastic at the bottom or maybe just from the screws. Either way; the wood and bench itself seem sturdy
