Great water shoes for a very good price. Worth it!
I have used these shoes on two trips so far: once in Costa Rica and once in the Philippines. Here are my thoughts so far…PRO’s:+ Very comfortable.+ Removable insole (thin) for easy cleaning.+ Rubber sole, so you can step on rocks, shells, etc. without pain. This was very helpful especially at rocky beaches. Also, with the rubber sole, there’s better grip on wet surfaces.+ Somewhat stylish? I think they look better than other water shoes.+ Easy to store and carry around. They’re pretty light.+ Relatively durable. I’ve used this pair for two trips already: each one lasting at least 5 days. No rips, tears, or fading so far.CON’s:- If you get sand in them (most likely), it can be a bit difficult to get all the sand out when the shoes are wet. But this problem is not unique; all water shoes exhibit the problem.- Get a smaller shoe size than you would normally wear because shoes get heavy when wet and will slip if loose. I normally wear a US men’s 9.5 / 10, but got a size 9. I’d say it was good fit: not too tight, not too loose. Shoes stayed on when walking in the water.Would I buy it again? Yes.

Excellent, durable shoes that are great for day-to-day wear
These shoes a great. I don’t use them in the water; rather, I use them as normal shoes. A size 12 fits great, even with socks on as well (which I usually do). The shoes are durable and will not fall apart from daily use. I know other people talk about how these shoes fall apart after minimal use, but that is not the case. Their problem is simply manufacturing errors with their specific pair of these shoes. My pair have stayed together despite my nearly daily wear and regular walking over rough terrain, including dirt, grass, rocks, sticks, and leaves. I also drive while wearing these shoes, which also works well. Being that the shoes are lightweight, they provide good pedal feel. The shoes are also relatively comfortable. The insoles are somewhat squishy, but don’t really do anything to improve or detract from the overall comfort of the shoe.

First, Second, and Final Impressions
Usually wear a size 7 1/2 shoe and have a somewhat wide foot. Because Speedo brands tend to run smaller than their advertised size, I ordered a size 8. The ankle fits appropriately snug, but the challenge is the length. The shoe almost (almost) feels like one is wearing diving fins. But they appear durable and well-made. I will update as one wears them throughout the coming summer months. Not that it matters, but the color “navy/blue” is a bit lighter than shown on the computer screen (if you’re a stickler for that sort of thing).UPDATE: June 29, 2017: Wore the shoes for the first time. Was at Hampton Beach, New Hampshire during a pouring rain and thunder & lightening storm. Stayed off the beach, but walked on the boardwalk where there are food vendors, arcade amusements, gift shops, etc. The shoes did a good job of sloshing through the huge puddles on the pavement, but to my disappointment, there is NO ARCH SUPPORT. The shoes are flat on the inside. Thus, if you have fallen arches or flat feet, this product may feel uncomfortable for you.FINAL UPDATE: August 1, 2017: Finally got to the beach. It is difficult to walk on dry sand with them. In that respect, they are similar to wearing street shoes on dry sand. And sand does get inside them. In terms of drying, it takes longer than airing them out overnight for them dry completely. Closer to a full day before the Surfwalker becomes completely dry again.BOTTOM LINE: A solidly made, good product. Though the design has its flaws (please see above) they are worth one’s hard-earned money.Final Grade: B.

Makes my coastal living more easy going
My husband and I LOVE these shoes and find them a great value. I gave him, and me, a pair for Christmas. We moved to the Gulf Coast in August and while loving walking on the beach barefoot these are perfect for cold and/or rainy days. They are of such high quality that we love them for night walks when you might miss something that you didn’t want to step on. They look sharp on and are incredibly comfortable. The fit is so flexible I will probably be back for two more pair at an average shoe size for when guests come like we have now. There are a lot of different shoes for beach walking to choose from at Amazon and I really feel I actually made the right choice my first time around.

Great water shoe for guys.
This review is for the Speedo Men’s Surfwalker 3.0 Water Shoe. While no water shoe is going to win you any high-style points, these are an attractive and (most importantly) very functional option. I bought these for an upcoming trip to an area with notoriously rocky beaches and shoreline. These shoes were a lift saver! They kept my feet safe from sharp walks, provided excellent traction on slippery rocks/surfaces and also kept my feet protected from the HOT sand/stones at the beach. They comfortable hugged my feet and did not slip off when swimming or diving into the water. Once out of the water, water drained from them very quickly and they were also very quick to dry. I purchased the Navy which I will say is very accurate to how it is pictured. I wear a size 10-10.5 depending on brand and the 10 fit great in these.

Tight fit water shoe, needs a way to adjust or flex
Very Tight fit, I had to take the pad out to feel more comfortable. Needs to have the top or sides split with elastic to give or else velcro to adjust.Solid shoe, will use for kayaking. Wish it fit better. Maybe try a size larger, because they do not do half sizes.

I bought these water shoes to use on beaches in the Caribbean, in this case Dominican Republic and Cuba. While such shoes are generally not needed in Cuba, they are essential on Dominican beaches. I found them comfortable enough to wear all day around the resorts we stayed at as well as for swimming, walking the beaches and when using a kayak. I can’t wear flip-flops so this is a much better alternative for me for general walking around. I bought my usual size and they fit snugly, not slipping in the water. They are light but with a solid sole. They are the good quality I expected from a well-known brand like Speedo.
