These soaked up water like a sponge, they were still wet two days after their first trip to the local lake. The outsoles were pretty grippy though.

Many uses other than water
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I took these with me on a camping trip at a lake recentky, and I found I used them more than any other shoe I had with me. They really slip on a lot like a sandal, but they have a draw string to quickly tighten them up of that is necessary. The sole on them is perfect for walking over most any kind of surface, though if it’s a rocky surface you will feel each rock. Perfectly fine for short walks in and between campsites. And, of course, as a water shoe, I found them to be excellent for standing on anything that was wet.Also, I drove a lot on this trip, and discovered they were excellent for that as well. I could slip them off if I wanted to drive barefoot and relieve the pressure on my feet from shoes, and I could slip them on if was pulled over to go in for a rest stop.

These shoes have been a reliable companion for my creek fishing excursions. Their traction is exceptional, providing confident footing on slippery creek beds. I’m particularly impressed with how quickly they dry, which is a huge plus when moving in and out of the water throughout the day.In terms of style, they resemble a typical athletic or water shoe – functional but not particularly noteworthy. The quality seems decent for a lightweight shoe, holding up well to the demands of creek environments.One important note on sizing: they do run a bit narrow. I had to size up to accommodate this, but overall, they’ve proven to be a decent quality option for my fishing needs.

Just received my shoes. As many others said in their reviews, these shoes are definitely oversized. The tow space is way big, and floppy. Easily a full size (maybe more) too big. I will return these. They seem good otherwise, but I didn’t get to wear them in the water, so I can’t comment on anything else at the moment. This is a hassle! Please size your shoes correctly.I will try one size lower, and they better fit right, or not touching this company ever again.
