Solid product, but the audio isn’t the absolute clearest. For the price, excellent value and easy to use. I recommend that if you’re looking for a cheap, easy-to-use, and get the job done mic.

Great Microphone!
I have had the chance to use these microphones in so many different situations and have enjoyed every second of them! First you dont have to go through such a difficult process of connecting to your phone! It’s as simple as plugging in the usb-c port in your phone, pushing the on button for your microphone and you’re ready to go! No wired connection needed! It comes in a small case that makes it easy to have it in your pocket ready to go in any situation you need! The sound quality isn’t where it could be. It doesn’t sound scratchy or anything, but compared to the other ones ive used it can sometimes sound a little scratchy. However if youre looking for something that’s gonna record your voice and no one else, this is gonna be worth every penny!

(Tested on Android devices)These are not the cheapest microphones in this category, but they are certainly amongst the nicest. The design is nice, especially the receiver which has two LEDs front and centre which indicate which/how many mics are connected. Super cool – the cheaper mic kits don’t have this.The microphones are also good looking, the only drawback is that the clothing clips do not rotate like other microphones do.I tested recording audio from sixty feet away with no issues. I also tested with the mics outside on the front porch with the door shut while the receiver remained inside the house, with good results.Be aware that this mics have noise cancellation turned on by default. You have to press the power button to disable the cancellation. I found that the noise cancellation resulted in poor quality audio (it sounds like the person is speaking from a deep, watery barrel). Turning off the cancellation is no big deal, but you have to do it every time you turn on the microphones.Oh and the tin! It comes in a lovely steel container which is super classy.

I’m going to get my first (and only) disappointment with this item out of the way first. In the text describing the product, it states “Bluetooth connectivity”, which led me to believe that you would be able to connect these directly to your device using native Bluetooth (like you would with wireless earbuds, etc), but this is not the case. You need to plug the included receiver into your device (USB-C and lightning connectors provided, to address the vast majority of modern devices out there). The receiver is pretty small but it does seem to work quite well and very quickly pairs with the microphones, and gives good visual feedback as to the connectivity state. Despite warning about “thick cases” I did not have an issue plugging it into my phone with its case on.So apart from the minor detail of having to physically connect this dongle to your device (and in doing so, sacrificing your port for anything else you may need to use it for at the same time), these microphones seem to work quite well. They’re very small and light, but they have good pickup and the resulting audio quality is surprising for such small and inexpensive devices. Attaching a short clip of my test run, set to video of this bug that happened to be taking a stroll across my ottoman at the time. They’re packaged in a compact but sturdy metal case, and for the price it’s really a respectable deal. Definitely recommend. Useful for a variety of applications.

These lavalier mics work well; I used one to write this entire review. But the case that it comes in, although it looks nice, is not practical for carrying or storing the mics unless you keep removing the clips, and I found that frustrating.The set comes with two lavalier mics, a charging cable, a user manual, and the tin that they come in.The lavalier mics, clips, and charging cable come neatly arranged in perfectly cut foam inside the tin. However, I found the tin incredibly hard to open, and then when I finally managed to get it open I saw that the lavalier mics and the clips were laid separately in the tin in their own spaces, and the tin is very narrow with not much height. This means you can’t put the lavalier mics back in the tin to carry once you’ve attached the clips–which you need to do to use them unless you’re simply holding them–unless you remove the clips, and who is going to remove the clips every time? Not me. So the tin does not work as a carry or storage case and that’s frustrating. The mics also did not come with extra foam heads like some sets do, which would be a nice touch.To use the mics you first put the receiver into your phone with either the type C or the lightning attachment. Since I have an Android phone I used the type C and it worked beautifully. Then you press the power button on the lavalier mic, and both the light on the receiver and on the mic should turn green. That happens very quickly and I was able to then use the mic.There’s also a noise cancellation button that you can use if you want to by pressing the button once it’s on and the light will flash green. To mute the mic you double click the button and then the light will turn red. I like that it shows red when it’s on mute so that you know it’s on mute. There were a few small typos in the user guide, such as that they said to turn off the noise cancellation instead of to turn on the noise cancellation, but I figured it out. There was also a solution to common problems and a quick guide at the back showing you how to do each of the functions you might want and what feel like indicators mean.The sound quality is good; my voice sounds like my voice and at a midrange volume, not hugely loud but not too quiet, and I didn’t hear any interference or background noise. I’ve used these to make some videos outside both on a very windy day and on a less windy day. On the very windy day I added a different top, a wind sock I had, and that helped, and they still recorded well.The mics light shows red while charging and turns off once fully charged. I also like that the receiver is not really bulky. They’re quick to charge and easy to use.These mics come with 12-months limited warranty which always seems like a good sign to me, and if you register it you get an 18 months warranty.
